Family Court and Local Authority Interventions

Each year we work with many individuals and families who are encouraged or required to work with us as part of a child and family safeguarding plan. This work can be ordered by Family Courts or by local authority Children and Young People Safeguarding Teams, often on the recommendation of a forensic or clinical psychologist.

 

We are one of the very few agencies who are trusted with these detailed and complex interventions. Our skilled practitioners carry out this work over several months, concluding with a final written report

As well as working with people assessed to be a risk to children, we also provide protective parenting work through our Insight Programme. This can be delivered on its own, or alongside work with the 'person of risk'. Details of the Insight Programme can be found by clicking here.
